Games We’re Most Excited About: Oct. 2025

Overview: These are not product recommendations, or based on client work in any way. Rather than giving you a curated blog article, we wanted you to know how we, as humans, think.

  • Alysa (Art Director): New season of Marvel Rivals 4.5 comes out with Daredevil as the newest hero to the roster! He looks awesome. My go-to strategist is still Invisible Woman thanks to her strong kit, but Luna Snow is always a staple and fun to play.
  • Alec (Design Director): This is about a month late, but who knew that in late August, after 6 years of waiting and guessing, we’d get a ‘Hollow Knight: Silksong Releases in Two Weeks’ announcement?! I about fell out of my chair. So, even though I am already 25 hours in, I am STILL excited about it. Team Cherry really knows how to deliver an amazing game, and it sure helps me practice patience and determination. Personal therapy bonus, I guess?
  • Matt M (Director of Project Management): The games I’m most excited about are the ones I still have yet to get to in my backlog. I’m a serial collector of games I know I’ll enjoy and am always just trying to find the time to get back to completing more! I know for sure GTA6 is going to revolutionize the industry, it’s just a matter of when I can actually get to it after the other masterpieces I have in my library.
  • Mike (Assoc. Director Paid Media): One of the tap houses in my neighborhood recently added a Godzilla pinball machine by Stern Pinball to their lineup and I am HOOKED!
  • Omar (Senior Project Manager): Hideo Kojima’s upcoming projects (PHYSINT and OD) look absolutely insane. As much of a fanboy as I am, I feel like he pushes the envelope of gaming as a medium and how we interact with video games as works of art. Secondary to that, whatever upcoming FromSoftware game they have in the works is also at the very top of my list. BLOODBORNE PC WHEN?
Oh, and shoutout to Resident Evil: Requiem coming up very soon.
  • John (Paid Media Coordinator): I’m patiently awaiting the release of Football Manager 2026, especially with the transition to the Unity game engine, redesigned UI, and the inclusion of women’s leagues and women’s international teams for the first time in the history of the series. The cancellation of last year’s edition was difficult for me as someone who puts plenty of hours into the game each year. I’m really looking forward to diving back into the grind of my journeyman manager series, where I start at the bottom of the managerial totem pole and work my way up with different clubs around the world to reach the highest peaks of football management.
  • Dylan (Junior Project Manager): As a lover of gaming, it is far too difficult for me to pick just one title…but the games I think are pushing the medium forward this year (and ones I am simply excited to play) are: Hollow Knight: Silksong, Donkey Kong Bananza, Ghost of Yotei, Expedition 33/Clair Obscur, Hades II, and Skate. I am the most excited for part 3 of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series though!
  • Ryan (Senior Technical Writer): Hmmm, let’s say Metroid Prime 4. I love a good FPS game with puzzle mechanics. It’s probably why I enjoyed Destiny raids. Besides, who can say no to Samus on a motorcycle! 🏍️
